Lucinda Rileyová
(*1966) Narodila sa v Lisburne v Severnom Írsku. Detstvo prežila v dedinke Drumbeg neďaleko Belfastu, neskôr sa presťahovala do Anglicka. Od štrnástich rokov navštevovala školu drámy a baletu. V roku 1982 dostala prvú výraznejšiu hereckú úlohu v televíznej adaptácii BBC The Story of the Treasure Seekers (Príbeh hľadačov pokladov), v roku 1983 účinkovala v komediálnom seriáli Auf Wiedersehen, Pet. Jej sedemročnú hereckú kariéru vo filme, divadle a televízii prerušila choroba. Nútená prestávka ju ako dvadsaťtriročnú priviedla k písaniu. Jej prvý román Lovers and Players (Milenci a hráči) vyšiel v roku 1992 vo vydavateľstve Simon&Schuster.
